For 35 years, Tim Moraghan’s talents and work ethic have brought a wealth of benefits to the golf industry, capped by his tenure as Director of Championship Agronomy for the United States Golf Association, a position he held for more than two decades. From grounds crew to construction of new courses to golf course superintendent, Tim’s experience encompasses a wide range of talents and expertise in the golf arena. He has worked at more than 100 major golf championships and numerous PGA, Champions, and LPGA Tour events. Since forming ASPIRE Golf 13 years ago, Tim has assembled an impressive international roster of clients, including top-tier private clubs, public courses, municipalities, parks departments, and resorts. The services of his firm include golf course consulting and turf management; superintendent search and placement; golf course master planning and architectural evaluation. Through the company’s ASPIRE Higher division, Tim runs multi-day career development programs for golf course superintendents. He writes a monthly column, Inside the Ropes, for Golf Course Industry magazine.
