Understanding Architecture's Place in the Success of the Golf Facility Part 2

Wednesday, February 3
3:00 pm – 4:00 pm

While every professional involved in the development and maintenance of a golf facility is vital to the success of the facility, the golf course architect role may be the least understood outside of the obvious visual proof of the work. The American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA) is offering this session as a part 2 offering for anyone who may or may not have attended the part 1 session. Participants will better understand how to better communicate and complete projects involving architects on the golf course through architects discussing the following topics:

• Technology – Is it Good for Golf?

• Quarrel of the Ancients and the Moderns - Which group is more influential today?

• Learning From Each Other – What are the top three misconceptions superintendents have of architects and vice versa?
