Topdressing Sand

Education is key when it comes to topdressing sand. Let’s talk about topdressing practices at your facility and ways to improve as well as assess potential threats so that you can protect your turf. This session will cover principles and techniques that can be used to potentially modify your topdressing and cultivation program at your facility, as well as ways to assess your current turf and soil conditions, and evaluate current topdressing and cultivation practices to target areas for improvement.

• Important characteristics in topdressing sand for thatch modification

• Techniques to ensure proper deployment (time/intensity) and improve the surface root zone in topdressing programs

• How to assess current topdressing and cultivation practices at your facility
