Golf Course Safety, Security and Risk Management

Wednesday, February 3
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm

Golf course safety, security and risk management are important factors in properly managing a successful facility and education is key. Unfortunately, more times than not, golf course owners and employees learn the hard way when it comes to dealing with urgent and dangerous situations that can have negative impacts and long-lasting effects on their golf courses. This session will help you not be one of those cases by giving the tools you need to adapt processes and practices to continually assess and evaluate workplace hazards, risk potential, and proven ways to deal with unknown risks. Participants will walk away with a better understanding of:

• Legal obligations of “duty to protect” and how failure can result in negligence and liability

• Leadership skills and ways to increase employee safety, productivity, and morale

• Practical and applicable ways to reduce personal and professional liabilities and career stressors
