LaCosta – Champions and Legends Course

The Champions course was the home of 37 PGA events, recently rebuilt for the modern player. Adding a handicap to the already ambitious course are redesigned bunkers — true to the spirit and character of Dick Wilson’s signature design — now staggered, stacked and strategically placed throughout each hole.

Under the guidance of the Champions Course architects, Pascuzzo & Pate Golf Design, all 18 holes on Legends Golf Course were thoroughly renovated, while maintaining the classic Dick Wilson-Joe Lee design. The multifaceted makeover includes a complete redesign and reconstruction of all 18 greens, as well as a thorough resurfacing of green complexes, the planting of paspalum turfgrass in the fairways and all-new bunkering.

Aviara Golf Club

Named by Golf Digest and Golf Magazine as one of the best resort golf courses in America, the Aviara Golf Club overlooks the Batiquitos Lagoon nature preserve in beautiful Carlsbad, California. The only coastal California course designed by Arnold Palmer, Aviara Golf Club features a memorable layout: par 72 over 18 holes and 7,007 yards uniquely sculpted around rolling hillsides, native wildflowers, and plenty of bunker and water challenges.

Aviara is home to the LPGA KIA Classic.

Torrey Pines – North Course

Torrey Pines Golf Course sits on the coastal cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean and is recognized as the premier municipal golf course owned and operated by a city. It is named after the Torrey Pine, a rare tree that grows in the wild only along this local stretch of the coastline in San Diego County and on Santa Rosa Island.

It offers two picturesque and, due to its yearly hosting of the PGA TOUR's Farmers Insurance Open event, widely recognizable championship 18-hole golf courses.  Torrey Pines was the host of the memorable 2008 U.S. Open and has been selected to host the U.S. Open again in 2021.

Encinitas Ranch

Encinitas Ranch is one of the few golf courses in Southern California that is located on a magnificent sweep of bluffs that has a constant view of the ocean throughout the golf course. There are only a few other courses in San Diego that offer a setting remotely close to the picturesque scenery of the Encinitas Golf Course.

Encinitas Ranch Golf Course hosts open qualifiers for both the USGA US Open and the PGA Tour. Golfers appreciate this Southern California golf course layout because of its many golf amenities – such as five sets of tees, open fairways, and bunkers.
