GCSAA Education Conference

All Day

Hear from top researchers, superintendents, equipment managers and assistant superintendents on ways to improve your course and career. The GCSAA Education Conference includes 103 fee-based seminars, 23 free sessions, and 400+ hours of education.

Fee-based seminars will be held in the Orange County Convention Center, West Concourse.

Free sessions included with GIS fullpack registration will be held in the North end of the Orange County Convention Center, North/South Concourse.

Behind the Scenes at Bay Hill - Learning Tour

This half day educational opportunity will take place onsite at the Arnold Palmer’s Bay Hill Club & Lodge. Attendees will see how Bay Hill addresses common and unique challenges faced in the golf industry. Chapter Management Session

Join GCSAA Chapter Executives and Chapter Presidents from around the country to discuss challenges and opportunities associated with running a GCSAA affiliated chapter. This is an excellent opportunity to hear about innovative ideas and programs from your colleagues across the country.

The morning will kick off with GCSAA CEO J. Rhett Evans providing an update on initiatives and programs designed to enhance engagement between GCSAA and the affiliated chapters. The session will also include Chapter Success Stories from the Iowa and New Jersey chapters; an expanded roundtable session tackling a range of diverse topics; an Assistant Superintendent Panel focused on what assistants are looking for from their chapters; and a Chapters and Social Media session.

Lunch is provided as well as dedicated networking time with your peers and GCSAA staff. The Chapter Management Session is a must for executives and chapter presidents looking to streamline their chapter operations.

GCSAA Grassroots Ambassador Academy, Part 1

John BoehnerAmbassador Academy is back at GIS in 2020 featuring a presenter you won't want to miss. The GIS is honored to have John Boehner, the 53rd Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives, to train ambassadors in Ambassador Academy 1. He served as speaker from January 2011 to October 2015.
