Shellene Elmore

Elmore_ShelleneShellene is an 24-year veteran of the golf course construction industry since joining Landscapes Unlimited Inc. of Lincoln, Neb. in 1995. During the 2 plus years with LUI, Shellene learned the basic skills of golf construction while working on new golf course developments under the direction of architectural firms led by Keith Foster, Jeff Brauer, Tom Fazio and Landmark Land Co.

After leaving LUI, Shellene worked for various contractors throughout the United States and the Caribbean as a Shaper and Construction Superintendent on projects directed by architects such as Arnold Palmer Golf Design, Schmidt-Curley Design and the PGA Tour Design Services. Shellene also spent 4 years working for the design firm of The Roger Rulewich Group as a Shaper and Project Manager for such clients as Point O’ Woods CC (Benton Harbor, Mich.) University of Notre Dame (South Bend, Ind.) and The Half Moon Resort (Montego Bay, Jamaica).

In the fall of 2006, Shellene joined a New Jersey based firm to provide bidding, shaping and site management services to various renovation projects in the New York City Metro area. During this time Shellene also served as construction superintendent for the Tom Fazio II designed new construction at Trump National Golf Club / Bedminster (N.J.) in 2007.

In August 2012, Shellene joined longtime colleague Rich LaBar as VP/Partner for LaBar Golf Renovations based in Basking Ridge,NJ. Shellene has previously served as PM for LGR clients Winged Foot Golf Club ,The Los Angeles Country Club , Merion Golf Club , Oak Hill Country Club (N.Y.) , The Creek Golf Club and Shoal Creek Golf Club (Ala.) and is currently serving as PM at Brook Hollow Golf Club in Dallas, Texas.

Shellene is a native of Jasper, Ala. and currently resides with his wife Melissa and their two children in Sagamore Beach, Mass.
