Joshua Cook, greens & grounds superintendent at Pensacola Country Club, has over 20 years’ experience maintaining golf courses. Cook earned both his bachelors and masters of Agronomy from The Pennsylvania State University. Prior to PCC, he spent 6 years as head golf course superintendent at Oak Tree National. Cook’s work includes management of championship greens, hosting national tournaments, and overseeing golf course renovations. One of the highlights of his career was overseeing the preparation for the 2014 US Senior Open Championship and returning Oak Tree National to the Golf Digest Top 100 at #51. A Class A member of GCSAA, Cook has been married to his wife, Susan, for 8 years and has a 5-month-old son, Moses. When not at the club, he is an avid reader and loves strength training and meat smoking.
