Jorge Croda, CGCS, is the founder of Croda Consulting, whose mission is to create opportunities for individual, business, and societal growth through leadership development using the values and principles of golf. Originally from Mexico, Jorge earned his bachelor's degree from Universidad Regiomontana., AC. He is a passionate and experienced industrial and professional engineer in the golf and agricultural industry with more than 20 years of experience in Latin America, Europe, and the United States. His experience as a player, coach, consultant, superintendent, industrial engineer, and educator gives him a unique perspective on how to use life, business, and social skills as advantages. With an innate entrepreneurial spirit, innovative thinking skills, and a passion for golf, Jorge's area of expertise is to improve the success of companies through the effectiveness of their leaders and teams by training and developing individuals and teams. Croda is a certified superintendent, served as Vice President of NTGCSA, is a Delegate of the GCSAA Chapter, and in 2017 was the first Hispanic to receive the nationally recognized TurfNet Superintendent of the Year Award. He believes that teaching others the importance of focusing on values in their personal and professional lives and the importance of social responsibility is the key to creating a happier, more sustainable world.
