Frank Wong, Ph.D., is a senior regulatory affairs consultant with Bayer Crop Science based in Alexandria, Va. He works with a wide range of industries to solve pesticide regulatory issues. Wong was a statewide extension specialist at the University of California, Riverside, from 2001-2011 and technical specialist for Bayer Environmental Science until 2014. Wong earned his Ph D. from Cornell University in Plant Pathology and has been chair of a number of American Phytopathology Society and Crop Science Society committees, editor in chief of Plant Disease Management Reports, and has provided education on plant disease management across the U.S. and internationally. He has been a GCSAA faculty member since 2003 and can be found on twitter as @turfpathology tweeting about food, travel, family, and the joys of dead and dying turf.
