Addison Barden is a Southeast Regional agronomist based outside of Atlanta in Peachtree City, GA. He helps golf facilities maintain better playing conditions through the USGA Course Consulting Service on-site visits, educational outreach, and research throughout the nine-state region of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. He grew up in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida where he started his career in turfgrass at TPC Sawgrass. He attended Auburn University for his BS in Turfgrass Management and Masters in Entomology.
Prior to joining the USGA, he worked in south Florida and the New York Metropolitan area at North Jersey Country Club and was Superintendent of the West Course at Westchester Country Club.
