According to GAME GOLF data, from 100 yards and in, the putting green complex is where 60 percent of the game is played. The ‘green complex’ is typically considered to be the area about 60 feet beyond the collar, depending on course design and terrain, and encompasses majority of the shots played by the average handicap golfer, thus maximum conditioning and maintenance efforts of this area is critical to the golfing experience. This seminar will walk superintendents through options and techniques to achieve best results all while reducing water use, labor, and overall environmental impacts.

Participants will learn how to:

  • Implement proper maintenance adjustments and solutions to enhance green complex condition and appearance as needed
  • Maximize playability without necessarily increasing budget costs
  • Prepare for future demands and establish a master plan for green complexes at a golf facility
