ASGCA Forum: Design Trends That Don’t Break Maintenance Budgets
Presented by the American Society of Golf Course Architects
While many superintendents have stories about golf course designs that seemed oblivious to the efforts necessary to maintain them, golf course architects are tuned in to designing with an eye toward budget management. ASGCA President Jeff Blume and a panel of ASGCA architects will share examples of design trends that respect the resources necessary to maintain course conditions that golfers demand. The panel will talk about remodeling trends like turfgrass reduction, green restoration, and strategic bunker review, as well as tips for communicating with golf course architects about management during remodeling projects big and small.
