GIS to accept donations for Haiti relief efforts, San Diego Food Bank

Given the recent events in Haiti, the Golf Industry Show associations will be partnering with the Red Cross to secure monetary donations for Haiti relief efforts. GIS management will also be accepting donations for the San Diego Food Bank, to ensure that attendees have the opportunity to help the San Diego community. The Toro Co. will be sponsoring the efforts and matching attendee donations. On-site bins will be available in secured locations throughout the convention center to accept donations for both the Haiti relief efforts and  the San Diego Food Bank.

The 2010 Golf Industry Show will close in style. Featuring multiple bars spread throughout the show floor, this event will provide a relaxed and casual atmosphere to conduct business, celebrate another successful show, and enjoy networking opportunities with your colleagues and industry experts.

The GCBAA (booth 3753) will be selling raffle tickets for a 2010 softtail Harley Davidson motorcycle. All proceeds will go to the GCBAA Sticks for Kids program. The winner will be announced at 5 p.m. during the Show Floor Happy Hour.

 

Golf Industry Show management will be walking the trade show floor during the Show Floor Happy Hour to hand out prizes to qualified buyer attendees at random. Prizes include a complimentary registration to the 2011 Golf Industry Show in Orlando, gift certificates and cash. $5,000 worth of prizes will be handed out - don't miss your opportunity to be one of the lucky winners.

 

Golf Industry Show service project update

The 2010 service project in conjunction with the San Diego Food Bank has been canceled. This includes both the work sessions that were scheduled for Feb. 8, and the food drive at the San Diego Convention Center.
