Frank Wong, Ph.D., is a senior regulatory affairs consultant with Bayer Crop Science, based in Alexandria, Va. He works with a wide range of industries to solve pesticide regulatory issues. Wong was a statewide extension specialist at the University of California, Riverside, from 2001-2011, and technical specialist for Bayer Environmental Science until 2014.
He obtained his Ph.D. in plant pathology from Cornell University in 2000 and has been chair of a number of American Phytopathology Society and Crop Science Society committees, editor-in-chief of Plant Disease Management Reports, and has provided education on plant disease management across the U.S. and internationally. He has been a GCSAA faculty member since 2003 and can be found on twitter as @turfpathology tweeting about food, travel, family, and the joys of dead and dying turf.
