Anthony L. Williams, CGCS, holds a degree in horticulture from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and is a member of the Georgia GCSA. Williams’s activities include serving as vice-president and current president of the Georgia GCSA, and he served as inaugural president of the Georgia branch of the Professional Grounds Management Society. He was the winner of the 2010 GCSAA President's Award for Environmental Stewardship and was selected as the 2011 Environmental Communicator of the Year by the Turf and Ornamental Communicators Association.
Williams joined the GCSAA faculty in 2012 and enjoys martial arts in his free time. He is an 8th degree black belt and 2001 inductee in the International Martial Arts Hall of Fame.
