Tony Koski, Ph.D., is a professor and extension turf specialist at Colorado State University. He earned his B.S. at Knox College and his master's and Ph.D. at The Ohio State University.
Koski’s research interests include water conservation, species and cultivar evaluation and organic turf management. His university appointment consists of 15 percent teaching, 15 percent research and 70 percent extension.
Koski was awarded the Jack E. Cermak Advising Award from Colorado State and he has served as the associate director of extension for CSU and on the board of directors of the Rocky Mountain Regional Turfgrass Association. He has been a GCSAA faculty member since 1989, and in his free time, he enjoys gardening, golfing and serving as a Colorado Master Gardener volunteer.
