presented by the GCSAA Government Affairs Committee
GCSAA’s government affairs team will discuss the latest federal and state government developments impacting golf facilities across the U.S. A special focus will be on the repeal and replace of the Clean Water Rule ("WOTUS" rule) and the Overtime Pay Rule. Special guests from state and federal government offices will be on hand to offer an overview of the political landscape across the country leading up to the mid-term elections.
Join us to learn more about the GCSAA Political Action Committee (GCSAAPAC) and meet the PAC board. Learn about the GCSAAPAC goals and fundraising plans.
Attendees will also be given an update on the GCSAA Grassroots Ambassador program and hear from ambassadors who are actively defending the industry. The ambassador program has been updated to make it easier for superintendents to connect with their federal elected officials. During the program, prospective ambassadors can learn about the new requirements and preview the new online suite of advocacy videos for both beginners and veterans of advocacy.
The 2018 Excellence in Government Affairs Award winner will also be recognized.
