GCSAA’s government affairs team will discuss the latest federal and state government developments impacting golf facilities across the U.S. Hear first-hand how the November 2016 election results will affect GCSAA’s priority issues agenda and members throughout 2017.
Attendees will also be given an update on the GCSAA Grassroots Ambassador program and hear from ambassadors who are actively defending the industry at all levels of government. The 2017 Excellence in Government Affairs Award winner will also be recognized.
Finally, join GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans in the official launch of the association’s 50 in 2020 BMPs initiative. The goal is to have all 50 states with a robust Best Management Practices program in place by 2020. You'll learn more about the BMP how-to guide designed to help GCSAA chapters and members develop their programs. Evans will discuss the importance of moving forward with this key initiative to help golf facilities ensure their continued license to do business.
