Receipt of a completed application and the $250 application fee by the deadline gives you the choice of either testing in San Antonio, or locally within your one-year applicant period.

New for 2018! A testing room will be available on Thursday, Feb. 8, to anyone who is interested in taking any of the Turf Equipment Technician Certificate exams. To expedite the process, it is recommended that exam candidates be signed up and have purchased any exams they will be taking prior to GIS. The exam room will contain a few desktop computers for testing use; however, candidates are strongly encouraged to bring their own laptop and mouse to ensure access to a computer. The room will have wi-fi, and exam proctors will be available during testing hours.

Certification candidates must submit an application, pass a written exam, meet any experience requirements and comply with a code of ethics. Auditor programs also require an independent field audit (fulfilled by taking the Golf Irrigation Auditor seminar). You must register for any certification exam at least 14 days prior to the scheduled date. The Irrigation Association reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule any certification exam.
