Fred Yelverton, Ph.D. 


Fred Yelverton, Ph.D., is a professor of crop science at North Carolina State University where he co-directs the Center for Turfgrass Environmental Research and Education. His research program focuses on PGRs and the development of environmentally sound weed management systems for both warm- and cool-season turfgrasses. In addition, he advises several graduate students in the area of turfgrass weed management and plant growth regulators. He is a popular GIS and webinar instructor.
