Exhibiting companies are encouraged to include media relations as part of the mix of their Golf Industry Show marketing activities.
The Golf Industry Show provides a media center for working media to interview sources, attend news conferences, collect exhibitor information and construct articles for publication. Exhibitors are encouraged to provide news releases and media kits to the media center for distribution.
The Golf Industry Show can provide contact information for media who cover the golf course management industry. Exhibitors may wish to contact these media representatives to send news releases, invitations for personal booth visits, or requests to schedule meetings.
Exhibitors wishing to conduct a news conference or group media event -- such as an outing, breakfast or luncheon -- must schedule those in advance. The goal in creating such a schedule is to reduce conflicts as much as possible and allow exhibitors and participating organizations full media access. Use of the media center is complimentary, though any audiovisual equipment must be supplied through the designated Golf Industry Show vendor.
